Q:Do you supply purpose made timber up and over doors?

Yes we do and always have done as timber is in fact the most versatile of materials to enable this to be possible not only with the sizes but also the designs.
We have supplied and installed timber garage door since 1986 and more often than not each timber up and over door will vary from the last one sold in the colour finishing and maybe some small detail in the style and this is all possible to enable you to have your own unique door.
We have an enormous range of standard timber door designs with and without windows and manufactured mainly in cedar wood or Idigbo but also available in Oak, Nordic Pine, Douglas Fir and a few other special timber species if required.
Most of the standard designs can quite easily have minor changes that make big visual appearance differences such as specifying a 115mm wide board rather than the standard 82mm wide board. This will instantly make the door look older in style and perfect for older properties where this may be important or even required if it is a listed property or a conservation area.

For a complete bespoke timber door we can produce almost whatever you can draw if it is physically possible within the constraints of the size range and weight range for the spring balancing. We have produced many timber doors in very specific designs required to match architectural features or simple to make a statement. The way we can produce these timber doors also varies as we can either use a steel box section chassis system or traditional joinery methods with mortice and tenon jointing, you decide.
