The Woodrite Burnham model is a part of the Woodrite Doors Coach House range. The Coach House range of side hinged traditional timber garage doors represents the finest of its kind hand-built in cedar and finished to exacting standards. The Burnham is a herringbone design door with the timber angles available in the same direction of required as opposed the the image shown.

The Woodrite doors are constructed from grade A selected cedarwood and assembled using traditional joinery methods with mortice and tenon joints. Each piece of trimber is pretreated with wood preservative before assembly for the best weather protection and longevity.

With a little care and maintenance, timber garage doors last a long time and are very forgiving of minor knocks and bumps. Each fully furnished door is protected by a special base-treatment of UV resistant finishing coats for lasting good looks.

How Will My Door Operate?
Side Hinged garage doors simply open with the use of three or four frame mounted hinges on either side of the two door panels. Outward opening is the standard operation however inward opening is possible on request. Various hardware packs are carefully selected for you to choose depending on the final visual appearance required.

Hardware Options
All packs share the same components and differ only in terms of the type of hinges used and the finishes of each item, giving a choice of three styles – Contemporary, Classic and Traditional.

Contemporary ironmongery is fitted as standard to the York and Warwick side hinged garage door range.

Side hinged garage doors and personnel doors are hung with three brass-effect hinges per leaf or with the option of a pair of classic strap hinges in black or silver colour or traditional strap hinges in black wrought iron. Side hinged doors have a night latch and finger pull (commonly used on front doors) with the option of a mortice lock and lever set – see individual furniture pack for details.

Personnel doors have a mortice lock and lever set as standard.

Side hinged doors have shoot bolts top and bottom to secure the inactive leaf and door stays to hold the door in the open position.

All side hinged wooden garage doors open right hand leaf first when viewed from outside the garage with the option of left hand opening available on request.

Each set of side hinged doors is supplied with the chosen hardware pack to include hinges, locking, doors stays and bolts for the slave door leaf.

   

Windows
Each door is available with a choice of any one of three window selections. Each window is constructed with sections of either stippled or clear polycarbonate that allows light to pass into the garage.

Frames
All doors are available with the options of various timber fixing sub frames. The frames can be supplied in different timber section sizes and are available in softwood, hardwood and the best option which is the cedar clad timber sections to ensure that the wood stain and colour chosen will match the door panels perfectly.

Woodrite Garage Doors are guaranteed against any form of manufacturing defect or mechanical failure for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase.

The exterior factory fully finished panel is guaranteed to provide a weatherproof membrane which will resist perforation of the substrate from the weather side due to corrosion for a period of up to 5 years - this is dependent on location, position of door and provided door has been maintained in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
