The Hormann ET500 is a garage door designed for high usage and large sizes and therefore has the strength and construction properties of a commercial specification door. Originally designed with a mesh type panel for high levels of ventilation it was designed for use in underground car parks. However it has evolved to become a very useful garage door to use when the requirement involves sizes up to 6000mm wide and 2500mm high.
It is the ideal chassis for any garage doors requiring the use of  oak or other heavy timber species which can be infilled by your joiner on site or at their premises to ensure continuity on your new build or renovation project . It is available up to some very large sizes and is always electrically operated without internal tracking into the garage so is ideal for garages with high or vaulted ceilings.

It is a highly cost-effective garage door which ensures long-term functional reliability as well as offering extremely quiet operation. The Hormann ET500 garage door units require very little maintenance to continue opening and closing easily, quietly and safely with its wear-free counter weight technology.

All the ET500 doors are made to order for a perfect fit and always come complete with a steel sub frame for installation.

All the Hormann ET500 doors are constructed using galvanised steel and can have the sub frame powder-coat coloured to a choice of 'special' colours or the any RAL colour option with the main door panel either matching or a different finish. A range of different handles are available for the pedestrian wicket door option as well as door closers and hold open devices. A range of matching side doors are also available in purpose made sizes.

Hormann ET500 up & over garage doors are available upto a maximum size of 6000mm wide by 2500mm high. This allows for both plenty of width and plenty of height to easily access the garage.

All the ET500 garage doors are supplied with a Hormann Supramatic H heavy duty electric operator which can have any of the vast range of Hormann access controls added for complete control and security. For very high use the ITO 400 operator is used.
