The modern manufacturing methods used give the flexibility for various designs and accuracy of routing and cutting to provide a high quality finished product.
Of course good quality timber will provide great thermal efficiency for your garage as well as good security levels too when fitted with the appropriate furniture and locking.
Modern finishing treatments offer fantastic guarantees of minimal maintenance and we always encourage that the side hinged timber doors are pre finished along with the timber sub frame so once fitted they are fully protected from the outset against the very aggressive British climate.
Many of our side hinged garage doors are automated and there are 2 main methods used, either a simple pull and push method using an adapted boom type ceiling mounted operator system, or door panel mounted pistons as seen used on entrance gates. Lower level hydraulic or mechanical pistons to pull and push the door leaves open and closed.
We also offer underground operators where the door leaves sit on a spindle and the underground motors drive the spindle to open and close the door leaves with almost total silence and a super smooth action. All these systems can be controlled by various remote or hard wired controls as well as wifi enabled control and smartphone and tablet apps.
