Sales Administrator – for Industrial Doors

Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 with a one hour lunch break. 20 days holiday.

Package: Dependent upon experience plus bonus paid monthly should the sales team hit target.

Main Purpose of Job: To carry out support for the sales process of the Commercial Doors division.

Responsible to: Sales Director

Liaison with: Sales Team, Procurement, Prospective Customers, Suppliers, Surveyors, Operations Dept. Directors.

Location: NN8 4BH

Main Tasks of Job:

  • Provide support for Commercial Doors Sales, particularly the commercial doors, physical security division which will become your specialist product, to include customer liaison, quote typing, preparation of drawings for specification, call handling, chasing quotations.

  • You are the first point of contact for the initial sales enquiry so good phone manner and a personable and positive approach is a must.

  • Chase suppliers for quotations at cost, and definition of provision of goods.

  • Assist in the specification of goods required from procurement

  • Call handling, taking messages and fielding prospective customers and already established customers’queries.

  • Lead qualification.

  • Eventually handling sales.

  • Use of the CRM system, all of the Office suite of programs, diaries for sales force, surveyors and installers, correctly filing & attaching documents important for the correct adherence to the sales process.

You require the ability and willingness to learn the product you will be selling. You will be a punctual, presentable and focussed individual, with a keen attention to detail, you will be representing the business so must be socially skilled as well as organised. Training will be given for the product and the relevant programs that you will be using.  Similar experience preferred but not essential.

Title: Sales Consultant                               

Salary and commission:  On Target Earnings of £40,000 with no cap. To date, for this role all leads are warm and in great abundance! Mobile phone and Tablet. 

Hours and location: Full time 40 hours per week. Saturdays on a rota. 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Wellingborough, NN8 4BH

Full UK Driving License required.

Aim: To increase the company market share by selling and specifying high quality sun shading products, comprising such items as fixed and retractable electric and manual awnings, side screens, terrace covers and parasols, to the discerning domestic customer. Ultimately this role will require the ability to survey; some training will be given although initial experience is required.

Responsible to: Sales Director.  

Relationship with: Surveyors, Sales team, Sales Support, Accounts, Installations, Operations, Procurement, Directors and Managers, Suppliers.

Main Tasks of the Job:

  • Successfully negotiate sales of supply only, or supply & installation of products within the Samson Awnings portfolio, to meet and exceed the sales target for gross profit.

  • Respond to fresh enquiries, create business, quote and follow up by telephone, email and other means of communication whilst maintaining correct records on CRM. A good degree of IT literacy and grammatical ability is required, coupled with good organizational skills.

  • Represent the company confidently, enthusiastically and professionally.

  • Liaise with other staff across the Dove Group to keep customers happy and increase sales.

  • Contact prospects, within one working day of receiving the lead, ultimately closing the sale.

  • Take part in sales and marketing meetings and discussions, offering positive contributions

  • Remain flexible on hours to enable the target to be exceeded.

  • Specify goods for order to enable accurate purchase.

  • Accurately assess the cost of goods, installation and other goods required to be able to build in the right amount of profit for each sale.

  • Maintain accurate records of all work, sales, profit and forthcoming schedules at all times.

  • Be able to cope under pressure and maintain a good, calm and professional manner, always work to exceed sales target.

  • Be presentable at all times, also following the staff handbook with regards to working standards.

Title: Installations Engineer

Company: AGD Systems

Start date: Immediate

Salary, bonus and commission: To be discussed.

Hours and location: Full time 40 hours per week, based on office hours. 20 annual leave days per year. Based in Wellingborough, NN8 4RJ with site visits as required. Initial probationary period of 3 months.

Aim : To increase the company market share by the successful negotiation and sales of automatic gates and related products, by pro-active selling and effective follow-up procedures. Generate new accounts and increase company profit.

Responsible to: Brian Dove

Relationship with: Surveyor, Admin, Other sales staff, suppliers, Operations, Procurement, Fitters.

Main Tasks of the job:

  • Prepare ground and opening on site for electric entry system, working with electricity, cabling and remote control automation

  • Remove existing products as required

  • Be capable of lifting heavy products with adequate care

  • To install gates, barriers and entry phone systems to a high standard and leave area clean and tidy

  • Fill in paperwork as required.

  • To maintain and repair above products when required.

  • To assist in other departments as required.

  • To work the required hours, remain punctual and presentable at all times.

  • You need a full clean valid UK driving licence
