Due to the manufacturers of these garage doors going into administration for the second time in less than 9 months, products from this group are, in the main, unavailable. We are informed that some may become available shortly due to part of the manufacturing plant being purchased by a third party. However our experiences during the last 9 months have raised serious doubts about the long term warranty and quality aspects of these doors and therefore we will no longer be offering them as part of our range.
This should not cause concern to any customers as there are many alternative options, most of superior quality, from manufacturers such as Hormann, Garador, SWS, Carteck, Cotswold GRP, Rundum Meir and Novoferm, all of which are companies that have traded for many years producing only quality products to the very latest standards required and offer excellent warranty and after sales support.
We have left some information on the Cardale ABS side hinged garage door range below for reference purposes as many projects may still have Cardale garage doors specified in the plan drawings and the information below may help to choose an equivalent garage door.
ABS Side Hinged Garage Doors
Cardale Garage Doors manufactured impact resistant white ABS garage doors which closely matched white PVCu doors and windows. All the side hinged doors used to be supplied preframed as standard with a brass effect Euro profile night latch and deadlock, a pair of door stays, two monkey tail shoot bolts and four anti-drop anchored dog bolt hinges per door leaf.
Side hinged garage doors open outwards in the traditional manner. In single sizes only up to 2438mm wide, the doors have no gear to intrude into the garage space, however they do require clearance immediately in front of the garage when opening.

Doors were supplied as standard to open outwards with the lock on the right when viewed from the outside. Left hand opening was available as an option.
Personnel doors operate as any hinged door. Personnel doors were supplied pre-framed as standard and came complete with a brass effect Euro profile night latch and deadlock and four anti-drop anchored dog bolt hinges per door leaf.
