The phenomenal span of colours now available to architects and homeowners is so incredibly vast that we have an ever-evolving range of various shades and tones to suit every type of building and garage. No matter what the theme or colour scheme of your home may be, we will always be able to offer the perfect shade to match the existing design, or of course to enrich your property with an entirely fresh element of character.
Keeping Up With The Colour Trends
Staying on-trend with current colours is a very easy job for us, purely down to the rainbow of shades we have available to us! In 2019, the colour of the year is Coral, and although this would prove to be an incredibly unique colour for your brand new garage or front door, we have a couple of RAL equivalents if you want to show off the bright tones!
Coral is a harmonisation found somewhere between Rose RAL 3017 and Salmon Orange RAL 2012, and although these shades aren’t an exact match, they do offer equally bright and similar alternatives! Take a look at our examples below – super bright and very out there!

Popular Colours and Schemes for Homes...
Anthracite is certainly proving to be one of the most popular colours in recent years, effectively awarding a subtle class to any door, and working especially well when both front and garage doors are showing off an Anthracite colour finish.
We are also now currently working on certain colour schemes that work well with different types of properties. It's not all about the colour...
How exactly would you like your colour to appear upon your brand-new door? Well it’s not purely about the colour, as the texture that the colour is presented on can make a huge difference in the overall appearance. Here’s a quick rundown on the varying characteristics of the different finishes:
Silkgrain – An entirely smooth finish.
Woodgrain – The texture of this finish consists of texture reminiscent of timber
Micrograin – Consists of very small, horizontal grooves that are pressed into the front panel.
Sandgrain – Finely structured surface with a sand-like resemblance.
Duragrain – Hormann’s new range of effect finishes, including timber, copper and concrete appearances.
Decograin – Laminate woodgrain effect, consisting of a foil overlay onto the door’s surface.
