Hormann Sectionals Now Secured by Design as STANDARD!
One of the best sectional garage door ranges on the market is getting a very important upgrade! Every single one of our Hormann sectionals will now be Secured by Design certified as STANDARD!

Industry leaders Hormann have recently put their sectional garage doors through the rigorous UK testing system to officially achieve Secured by Design accreditation. This initiative is backed by UK Police and insurance companies to encourage companies to design and manufacture high quality, secure products to effectively ‘design out’ crime.
The specification applies to all Hormann sectional doors that are insulated, unmodified, fitted behind the opening of the garage and fitted with a Hormann electric operator. The door must of course be fitted properly to achieve the high levels of security, and therefore the Secured by Design badge.

As garage door professionals of over three decades and years of specifying, installing and working very closely with these sectionals, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the doors have effortlessly passed the testing without any changes. However, the certification does further assure us as UK users that the range is up to the UK’s own security standards.
