Timber Garage Door Price Increases Imminent
Timber garage door prices are due to rise in November We have been informed of an approximate 10% increase in the retail prices of cedarwood timber garage doors during November 2013. This is due to pressure now from a 25% increase in the price of the raw materials coming in from Canada, one of the main sources of the timber used in the doors. Unfortunately this affects the Cedar and Woodrite timber garage doors, 2 of the main manufacturers of quality timber garage doors in the UK. These increases will inevitably filter through to the Garador, Hormann and other timber door brands eventually. This of course also applies to the pedestrian side door ranges as well as up and over and side hinged timber doors. If you have a timber door to order we suggest maybe you order it sooner rather than leaving it too late now!
