Q:What is a good round the corner garage door to buy?

We offer various round the corner sliding type garage doors in either steel, aluminium or timber finishes and also some specialised finishes if required but there are some big price differences
For most round the corner garage door systems we offer the Rundum Meir, the Vertico and the Hormann HST as this covers pretty much all the options ever required.
They are all high quality systems offering a smooth, easy to operate and secure round the corner garage door. The round the corner system has been around for absolutely years with most original systems in operation constructed from joinery made timber panels and then married up to either Henderson, Hillaldum Coburn, King or some other sliding door gear system. These door systems were fine but always had issues with the bottom track getting clogged up or deteriating and causing the doors to jam. Most round the corner doors we install now have a surface mounted bottom track to also act as a weather bar. This does not suffer from problems with gravel  driveways, dust and dirt.
The best value for money round the corner system at present has to be either the Hormann HST or the Vertico with the HST using sectional garage door panels and the Vertico using aluminium double skinned slats as used in roller door systems so visually there is quite a difference but both offer excellent value for money and are all purpose made to suit for every garage.
Colours and finishes are excellent and the choice of manual or remote control operation is offered by the Hormann HST where the Vertico is only available as an electric door.

The argument that you lose a wall in your garage  can always be addressed with a false wall fitted in front of the tracking as the doors generally are specified to travel as close as possible the the side wall to maximise space internally.
